Morning Thanks

Garrison Keillor once said we'd all be better off if we all started the day by giving thanks for just one thing. I'll try.

The Prophet

Sioux Center, Iowa (CNN)Donald Trump boasted Saturday that support for his presidential campaign would not decline even if he shot someone in the middle of a crowded street.

"I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters," Trump said at a campaign rally here.

What the man said right here in Sioux Center, on January 23, 2016, turned out to be pretty much true throughout the campaign.

This morning I'm hoping it doesn't continue to be true throughout his Presidency.

Is it possible to pardon a person who is innocent?
