We're going again--up north, next week. After a hiatus of a half-dozen years--we now live sort of "out in the country already," even think of our new place as a kind of vacation home"--we're motoring north next week, where, we hope, the seasonal colors are good and ripe.
When you're retired, the absolute joy of "getting away" just isn't quite as blessed, but we're both looking forward to waking up in the morning in a whole different world, this one.
