Morning Thanks

Garrison Keillor once said we'd all be better off if we all started the day by giving thanks for just one thing. I'll try.

Morning Thanks--we're still here

Harold Camping was wrong, again. The world here and it's full of beauty. We're still here. I think God almighty would say that, given the circumstances, that's cause sufficient for for hearty morning thanks.

Now Harold will go camping because he knows who were the "chosen" few.

A stunning story. That the media gave him the attention they did shocks me. He's not the first to make this prophesy, and wasn't he wrong 17 years ago with the same prediction? I don't know what to think about his followers. Many are upset with him, but they have themselves to blame. I would like to know Camping's CRC story. Wasn't he a member of a CRC church in California? I wonder what sort of member he was. Easy? Difficult? Trouble-maker?

Check out the May 14 "Stuff in the Basement" for the "Good One" on Harold. Seems he was "Easy", he left.
